Range of options to buy art
You will see from my Available Works that some of my original watercolour paintings are available as Giclée fine art prints and I offer oil paintings as canvas prints now, and this is a great to way to purchase affordable contemporary art. I have also found that this has been helpful for customers where the original has already been sold.
I’m always happy to talk to potential clients about what they would like in their commissions and discuss what I’m able to create, so please do get in touch with me if you want to know more about my work or talk about a potential new art commission.
My background
I had a very long break from art during my life where I spent time as a mother and also became very career-focused (I continue to have an alternative career). However, I had such a huge void and always intended to return to my passion in art, and I’m so grateful that I’ve been able to do that. I’ve learnt so many new skills through exploratory art, and it has also became a kind of therapy and escape from busy life.
I’m always itching to get back into the art studio and spend time working on my paintings, and have now made sure I sketch (excuse the pun) out time to do this, as it’s such an important part of who I am.
Art for me is about learning something new every time I paint, which is something I wholeheartedly value, and it keeps the grey matter working hard! I've adapted to oil painting and prefer this as my medium although continue to undertake art commissions in watercolour alongside oils. I occasionally paint in acrylics as it's great for speed.
I won an award for my watercolour painting "Still Winter" in the International Watercolour Masters 2024 exhibition and exhibit my works in a variety of art exhibitions and art fairs.
